SMC Family

What an adored and handsome baby! He started out happy. Then decided he had enough. Happily, this became a 'putting baby to bed' photo op. Real quiet, we could hear the baby breathing. Then he'd perk up. Then back to sleep. As an actor, he has great range. Chipper, laughing, tired, cuddly, sleeping, awake. I think we got all moods in an hour!

I love how his parents hold his hands, play with his feet. And so easy going. He's got really good parents. Lucky boy!

headshots

One of these kids is mine. Our homeschool group does solid theater every spring. And at Christmas. Always good. Here's the group that's getting ready for April's production. These kids are some of my favorite people. There's a few more that aren't in the play (ahem, you should have been) who are also amongst my favorite people.

Boston to see Jane

Last weekend I had a road trip to Boston with Erin to see Jane , a photographer from Australia. We crashed at Craig's house after stopping in Montclair, NJ to see Dan and Kristin
After experiencing Jane's first snow fall ever and walking around Boston in a white out on Friday, we were treated by our dear friend Tony to the most decadent lunch ever on Saturday.
The Langham Hotel Chocolate Bar where we realized that we had indeed found the map to Candy Mountain.

Jane got to make a snowman, a snow angel, and shovel a driveway. And then we torched the snowman. Just because we hadn't done that before. It's really wonderful to experience snow with someone who hasn't seen it before. "It has shapes!!"

CJH Family

I can't believe this wedding was three years ago! I enjoyed that day. And on Saturday I lost complete track of time. First we were formal, and then, well... then not formal at all!

Let Them Eat Cake

Let Them Eat Cake is a cancer charity for the City of Hope. It's also a wedding cake competition.

It obviously involves cake. And Mark Kingsdorf
who is probably the best person around to coordinate this sort of thing!

This is the third year in Philly.
