January 14... phoning it in from the back door.


January 15. Phoning in again. Because I didn't take my camera to the basketball game. But I will say, the bird book says that these woodpeckers are shy, and we get at least 2 each winter. So I feel special. This is the female.

January 16. Daughter's soccer game. I don't go to watch the game. I think something happened here, but I was focused on the net.
