Nichole and Brett

October 28th

A gorgeous day in autumn. Lot's of emotion, tears, silly stuff. Funny kids. A close knit wedding party. A truly unique cake. And dancing. Not to mention a couple who are very happy to be together. Dad checked the marriage certificate to make sure it was all legal before letting Brett have his daughter. Nichole's mom had a lot of details that I could tell she enjoyed doing. Both sides of the family made this wedding look easy. And did I mention there was dancing? Lots of it.

Details details: Pears with place cards, pear shaped cookies. Handmade beaded necklaces for the bridesmaids. Handmade wraps for all the girls. And a covered bridge they found for photos.

This was a lot of fun. Loved the slide show at the reception. And their sign in book was stunning. There were a lot of things that made this day personal to the couple and their families. Brett's students played violin before the reception. The list goes on!
But mostly, this day was good because it was genuine, emotional, and full of happy people. If anyone was stressed, I couldn't tell.
