Amy and Zack had a beautiful wedding May 26th at the
DuPont Country Club.
I had not met them, only Amy's parents. Her mom did a wonderful job of creating a memorable day. The wedding was to be out on the covered terrace, but when the clouds and thunder rolled in, it was moved to the Christiana Room... an elegant room and a great back up plan.
Music was over the top, by the
Sally Mitlas Orchestra. If you want a band, and no worries about them, here you go.
Flowers by
Celebrations Design. Amy's bouquet was a work of art. All the bouquets looked sculpted. I enjoyed how the textures and shapes worked together.
All of the photos can be viewed here! They had a gorgeous
ketubah, which Amy's brother pulled my leg about painting himself. A family kiddish cup and a personalized new one. And thankfully, a
chuppah that was portable. When the ceremony was moved indoors, it was simply packed up and walked inside. If you are having an outdoor wedding with a chuppah, I'd recommend this detail!
Amy and Zack's first dance was the tango. Not for the faint of heart. They did it well!
Congratulations to this gracious couple! They have a wonderful family. I enjoyed getting to know them!
