Cescaphe at the Curtis Center

I thought that they deserved their own post. Joe and Maire got more than they could have wished for. Breathtaking.

Maire and Joe

April 19th at Old St Joe's and the Curtis Center with Cescaphe.

Maire and Joe had a lot of things happen on the way to this wedding. A lesser group of people may have fallen apart because of it all. But they already had priorities straight and all that was good aligned correctly. The day was amazing. No matter what stress you think you have leading up to your wedding, I guarantee that it's nothing like theirs.

The reception was going to be at Colleens on the Parkway. The lease was gone 2 months before the wedding. Cescaphe picked up the Curtis Center. It was over the top. If you're photographing at the Curtis Center, my advice is to get great shoes. The stone floor after several hours is not comfortable. Thank goodness for gel inserts. I would not have wanted to miss the last dance, or any of the ones in between!

None of the bridesmaids had the same dress. I love it when this happens. Not even the same fabric. Viva variety!
Irish accents, yellow tulips, serenades, and champagne. This is one of my all time favorite groups of people now that I have met them.

Fantastic Day.
Music by Schaeffer Sound.
Sheraton Society Hill.

Brittni, 2

The reception.
Tables were all named for animals in the spirit of Tikkun olam.
Lots of games, lots of laughter, lots of fun.

Brittni had delightful Bat Mitzvah, and I was honored to be part of it. She has the voice of an angel. Her mom made her wonderful tallis, and knotted it herself as well. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her rehearsal with her good friend and the guitar. Beautiful. Inspirational.

Email and LMCO

Real quick...
I get email now and then from those with lmco email addresses. It always bounces back. No matter what. I think it's Lockheed, and so I can understand why it bounces back.
If I don't respond to your requests and you have this type of email, sorry! I'd love to get back to you!

I do get to every email within a day or so. If you don't hear from me, either I didn't get it, or it was rejected, or it's a day after a wedding where I was on my feet for a long time and can't type coherently.

Thank you!

Natalie and Michael

What an honor to participate in such a day!
It's wonderful to hear a father so proud about how much the groom loves his daughter.
This was a couple that had fantastic readings, wonderful expression, included everyone they loved, and everyone loved them back. I was emotional, and then emotional again while editing. It was that good.

I was thrilled to see past clients there! Terri and Mike. Oh how I loved their wedding, too. Natalie is Mike's cousin.

Some random highlights...
Michael's mother knows Everyone.
Herbs and flowers.
Something about Key Lime Pie from Joe's.
First dance recorded by a friend.
Processional performed by a friend who wrote it.
Flower girl meets a lobster.
Rosemary caught on fire.

Wedding and reception at Ruth's Chris.
Music done really really well by Expressway.

happy studio mess

the walls have come down.

My husband took a few hours to make this mess. I came it after an afternoon at a museum and jumped for joy.

Party Center

15 hours of photos
lots of china, glass, service, textiles... the works.
The Party Center in Phoenixville, they're organized.
They have a ton of stuff.
And they know where it all is. That's what amazes me.
