Becky and Jeremy

October 21 in Lancaster.

This was a beautiful day for a wedding. Blue skies, bright sun, dramatic clouds.

Becky and Jeremy have some very fun friends. There were a lot of kids at this wedding and they really enjoyed themselves. Jeremy's niece was passed around all over. 9 weeks old and every bit the social butterfly.

Becky's dad was nervous as anything. Don't worry! You did a great job.

One thing is for sure, if the bride is on the dance floor... everyone's on the dance floor.

Besides weddings

I also take other photos. Sometimes they let me near important people. But not too close. Those Secret Service guys mean business.

Amy and Justin

Swarthmore College on October 14th.

What a treat to share a day with these families! Justin sent flowers to the salon, to the house... Amy wore the necklace he gave her for Christmas. Amy's sisters, Justin's brother. Wonderful parents. And a bridal party that wished nothing but goodness for these two.

The ceremony was outdoors in the ampitheater. What an amazing space. This is the weather you hope for!

I had heard from the photographer that photographed Amy's sister's wedding that this was a fun group. She was right! The reception had dancing and a lot of friendly hanging out. Dad's rendition of certain songs did not disappoint.

Tables were named after wine. Flowers on tables, all cala lillies. Toasts were all well thought, humorous, and brutally honest. This wedding was just good all around.

Melissa and Mike

October 7th at the Springfield CC.
Melissa and her dad are too funny together. He got the mail and joked that it must be more bills for her wedding. He laughed and danced all day.

Ceremony at St Agnes in West Chester. Beautiful. I enjoy watching couples talk to each other during communion. They hadn't seen each other all day. They had mics for video, but I won't tell what they were talking about.

Ridley Park on Rt 3 ... I wish we could have stayed longer! There's so many spaces to explore. Gorgeous trees, stone, water, paths...

Quaker City String Band
This was a fun surprise.

Then Melissa sang with the Groovefish.
I have photos. I can't say I was surprised by her stage presence. She was great!

This was a fun fun bridal party. More like an entourage. I'd photograph this group again, gladly. If you're going to have 22 people, they should be like this group.

Jessica and Erwin

The Nassau Inn, Princeton. September 30th. These two get some sort of award for the best kiss in front of a congregation. I got 12 frames of it. Usually, there's just a quick kiss in front of the priest. 12 frames.

Then there's their family. Fun people, all of them. This was a great party! I think the DJ could have beat 2 sticks together all night and they still would have danced. But he did a fine job. And there was dancing. Especially by a certain uncle, cousin, and sister.

Jess wore her grandmom's garter (adorable adoring grandparents).
And there was no microphone for the Polish bread presentation. It was a sweet and private moment in front of everyone. Well done.
