Kristine and Jason

This scene was repeated often:

I do so love my infrared:

Peonies aren't used enough, in my opinion.

July 26th... what a day!
Kristine was a bridesmaid a few years back at a wedding that I photographed. She was memorable and so fun. I got to see the bride and groom again from that wedding, too. It was great. Although I had already seen them when their baby was born. (so cute!)

Kristine had peonies. I love peonies. And then color in all the other flowers that was just beautiful.
She's contagious to be around. You have to be happy if you're around Kristine. Her mother-in-law told me more than once that she likes her.

Jason's family. The party was extended until midnight. This is a fun bunch. No Macarena did their magic as always without being cheesy ever. Fantastic play list. As always.

Art and Amy!

Yay!
At the Kimberton Inn
With incredible music by Kim Alexander at No Macarena
who everyone agreed was the best DJ ever. And she gave me chocolate. I love Kim.

This wedding is not on my recent events page. Let's face it, it's my dearest and oldest friend's wedding. I was bound to act like a guest. And so these photos stay behind a password. Lord knows I'd never drink at a hired wedding. But I was forced to put my camera down at this one. And it was good.

Amy's dad spoke Just Long Enough.
Jamie and Laura could have spoke longer.

Random men. Actually, I'm married to one of them.
Cake was excellent (yay for neighbors that bake!)
and the cake cutting was adorable.

Amy's dad is a favorite person. The photo of him wearing the "crown"... fits. On so many levels. It's good to be king.

Joanne read this poem.
*(warning, if you're at work, it includes the F word)
And Art's niece read from the Prophet.

Because we love the idea of this:
Tulips. Perfect.

Kristine and Andrew

I could add more photos, but I'll stop.
Kristine and Andrew October 13th, Downtown Marriott.
Andrew's dad performed the ceremony. Kristine's dad played piano while Andrew's mom sang the Lord's Prayer. It's like the parents wanted them to get married or something.

There was an itinerary. And it included Rocky. And Star Wars. And some funny sister/brother dance that was a hoot. No Macarena did the fabulous DJ thing in her fantastic outfit.
Then the Macedonian Cake Dance. But first, the Dance with Alcohol, Money, and Lamb. That's not what it's called. But that's what it was. And it was fun!

The blessing was sung by Kristine's father's choir. Beautiful.
Glass angel favors. Gerber Daisies. Roses given to family who had lost a loved one. Andrew's dad and all the people he had married. Kristine's mom and the Big Man (I know your name)

Mike and Cheryl

September 29
Columbia Station in Phoenixville, PA
Thanks to Rebecca Barger for coming out to play!

Cheryl was a hoot all day. She and Mike play off each other really well!

Photos on the cocktail tables under glass. Lots of red. Tile and wine for favors. Covered bridge. And a bunch of music majors. My 9th grade English teacher was there as well. (don't think that I don't remember the stuffed animals, Pain and Killer)
